The Rizzerlers

About the rizzerlers

Psychedelic punk band The Rizzerlers have been quickly making a name for themselves ever since forming in early 2019 in Fulham, London, by lead vocalist Marco Veint and lead guitarist Elliot Dahlgren. They were shortly after joined by drummer Douglas Runebjörk, bassist Brad Locke and rhythm guitarist Jimmy Gaffney. They have since been putting on gigs almost weekly, drawing in steady crowds at venues in London including Nambucca, The Islington, The Old Blue Last and The Camden Assembly, sharing the stage with established British rock bands such as The Luka State, Scowl and others. The Rizzerlers’ many influences include Van Halen, The Smiths, Ozzy Osbourne, The Damned, The Libertines, The Beatles,Pink Floyd and more.

Set to release their long-awaited debut single ‘Take Me Back’ on July 5th, while also working on their upcoming debut album and a photobook named Interstellar Overdrive, which will capture their volatile performances in images and explain the stories behind them, this group is clearly busy working on putting out the most authentic, unique “The Rizzerlers-esque” material for their growing, loyal fanbase.

Their debut single will be the first glimpse into the world of The Rizzerlers for those who yet haven’t seen them live and will leave fans wanting more. With their psychedelic grunge punk vibes combined with their eclectic rock n’ roll and blues influences, they have truly embodied their unique sound and stage image strongly present at every show. As they are currently working on new music and having attracted fans and followers through all their live gigs as well as media coverage including RockShot Magazine, For the Love of Bands and Global AZ Media, it seems The Rizzerlers is definitely a band to watch as they are taking the London music scene by storm.
